Solar Car Incursion

In Anticipation
Today we are going to be focusing on solar cars through out the day on our science project "Power".

Questions
1. I'm hoping to learn about how the solar cars are made of to go reasonably fast on streets in the future.
2. I hope there going to tell us on how it's going to work in the pitch black.
3. I  want to know were the solar panels are going to go on the solar car.
4. I wonder if there going to tell us on how long it took to make one solar car.
5. What colour will be safest for the solar car.
6. How fast can it go on it's max level of solar power.

Reflection

What I did?
Today all of year 5 went to the hall in the morning to look at what we were doing that day. After we were in the hall we went to recess. On the playground the playground was the solar car made by Sun Swift. All of the year 5 classes were looking at the solar car. Once recess was finished 5B and 5J went to look at the car. They told us about how fast it goes, how heavy it is, what materials it was made of and how much room was inside of the car. Then we went to the presentation on what each car does. There was a Scout who was 10-15 minutes in front of all the other cars, Lead who did all of the navigation and made sure that the solar car took the right turns, Solar Car had to just mind his own business. Media who can take photos along the way, Cavalry and the Trailer.
Then we made our own solar cars and raced them. There was many people wanting to be first. There was many close calls and wins by far most importantly everyone had fun.

Year 5 camp out

When I got to school on Thursday I was a bit too excited I think. I just couldn't wait to get started. After lunch we started walking to the senior school. There was a few students saying "are we there yet?" and "can you hold my bag for me?". When we got to the senior school we headed to the pool first. Once we got dressed we all dived into the pool. A few minutes later we started playing classic catches.

After we went in the pool we started playing sport. We had the choice of touch rugby, soccer and cricket. I played cricket and I had lots of fun.

Once we played sport we started setting up our tents. After we set up our tents we started playing activities with the year 11s.

Then we watched a movie called Cool Runnings. I sat next to Angus and Sachin.

We went to bed in the tent it took around 15 minutes to go to sleep and there was plenty of farting as well.

In the morning we packed up and walked back to Wyvern.

Why is digital presence so important

Introduction

This post is about your positive digital footstep and that means  being responsible, respectful and thoughtful of others.

Positives
This paragraph is about a positive digital footstep. Social media could have a big compact on your career such as sport, jobs and
teachers. Social media enchants the identity and purpose of yourself on the internet. If you choose to have a positive digital footprint you don't have to worry about getting in trouble. Social media also assists jobs communicating to each other and also reflects how they view themselves

Negatives
There is also a bad side to social media, people who post those comments have a negative digital footstep. To do that you post rude things about other people, swearing and being racist.

Tips
Some tips are be careful of what you say and post. Be responsible and have good manners on social media. Ask your parents what your going to post before you post it.Ask yourself these question before you ask your parents how would I feel if my mum and dad read this, how would the person I'm posting about feel.

Thank you
